Building a new school on a Greenfield site provided an opportunity to install the latest ICT cabling infrastructure to serve the needs of tomorrow’s citizens. Combined with the audio visual and security requirements the design requirements were extensive and required an infrastructure to accommodate Ethernet, security & building management systems.

Data Pacific worked closely with the architects, Ministry of Education {MOE} and the construction company to deliver a state-of- the-art secondary school with an operating system that can grow and adapt as the school’s needs evolve over the next few decades.

As one of the very first MOE schools to move to a keyless environment accommodating all the security electronics become a logistical challenge which Data Pacific overcome with the design of custom built security cabinets. Accommodating the multiple one ton huge steel perimeter gates which doubled as a security fence after hours also proved to be a challenge in electronic engineering.
